My autobiography
Hello my name is Alissa Hagin On my last birthday they told me I am 41 but I say you are only as old as you feel so i'm 21 and holding, till some better come along.
I'm am going to the J.C to become a forest ranger in the Environmental Conservation: Parks and Recreation Management. I'm married with 5 children ages 17,18, 19, 20, 21.
Which in till a few years ago kept me very busy. Now that they are grown I find time for myself so I have gone back to school. My true love is the nature, tree and stopping the human races from killing of what animals specie we have left. I'm taking this class because the English class I told 15 years is out of date or I'm out of date. So here I am. I have a few learning disables such as dyslexia and short term memory loss so this will be a challenge for me. I am slow but i get the job done.

Alissa,
ReplyDeleteI think it is great! You are going to be a forest ranger conservationist. It doe not matter how old you are, age is just a number anyway. Passion for what you want to do is the first step and the rest is just what you have to do to get there.
5 kids, wow, I applaud you. I bet they are very proud of you. Being a steward of the environment and animals is a satisfying career and fun also.
Good luck to you in your endeavors.
Hi Alissa,
ReplyDeleteI love that you're holding at 21! Also, you deserve a medal for 5 kids!
It's great that your passion has brought you back to school! I hope this class takes you a step closer towards achieving your goals.
Lauren :)
Hello Alissa. Congratulations on going back to school. Having to manage the schedule of five children so close in age has prepared you well for the JC’s schedule. Parks and Recreation Management sounds like an interesting career. In Bio10 I learned how global warming is affecting wild life and found the problem overwhelming and sad. We need more people concerned with the well being of wild life.

Hi Alissa, to answer your question the police academy is going great for me and thank you for asking! Its hard work, Im doing the intensive academy which is full days Mon- Fri. Thankfully, we have breaks so I can do my online classes. I have a good friend who works for the Parks, he loves it. He works up in Bodega and has a cool job of mapping out trails and patroling them. Anyway, congrats on coming back to school. talk to you soon, Preston.
ReplyDeleteHi Alissa, congrats on returning to school. It's nice to see another working mom. You sound to me like you have the determination to do whatever you want! My good friend is pre-vet and he was just telling me today what he learned about the shrimp farming industry and it's toll on the ocean ecosystem. I already don't eat anything out of a factory farm and now feel I must give up shrimp too. Your goals are admirable.
ReplyDeleteHi Alissa,
ReplyDeleteCongrats on going back to school to pursue something you are passionate about. Wow is all i can say about having 5 kids that are only a year apart. Impressive!! Iam a nature lover too and conservation is something very important to me as well. Good luck!!
Hi Alissa,
ReplyDeleteIts great that you are continuing your education. You will succeed in your career. I congratulate on your five children and the patience you have. Good luck this semester.
