He remembered the good time and the not so good time and remembers the little thing about her that make him who he was going to be. He showed us who we take things for grate it and that we should enjoy life while it haven not after that it too late.

In this chapter why talk about different types of texts. Texts can refer to a range of work. Text means a writing consisting of multiple glyphs, characters, symbols or sentences. Read actively is by jotting down your questions and thoughts in the margins.
Outline means a statement summarizing the important points of a text. To summarize means to give a recapitulation of the salient facts; to recapitulate or review To Analyze is to separate into the constituent parts, for the purpose of an examination of each separately.

As for discussing the ways you plan to use this information in your own writing. I find it kind of hard to do for a few reasons one I read online and with help for a computer. So yes I can highlight text the reading but notes have to be taken on another piece of paper not a part of reading.

Essay 1 "Jasmyn"

I have chosen this picture of my oldest daughter Jasmyn Ann Harrison. In fact as I write this essay on February 4th it her 21 birthday. The picture of her is when she was only 12 years old. Jasmyn is smiling and happy with not a care in the world. At this time my husband David who is a geophysicist was working on a job in Yosemite National Park. He was looking for John Muir’s house that was buried under sediment for years under Yosemite Fall. He had to be there for several days so the company who had hired him put the whole family up in the lodge while he worked. The kids and I had a free run of the park including going places locked off to the public. In this picture I took of Jasmyn she in sitting in front of Half Dome. Half Dome is perhaps the most recognized symbol of Yosemite. Rising nearly 5,000 feet above the Valley floor, it is one of the most sought-after landmarks in Yosemite. Jasmyn and I with two of her brother William and Matthew drove up to Glacier Point that day for lunch. Glacier Point, some would say, is the most spectacular viewpoint anywhere. Most people agree that its views of the high country and breathtaking views of Yosemite Valley. The reason I choose this picture of Jasmyn is that last week she was in a car accident in Utah where she lives. Jasmyn will be ok, but she will never be unscarred little girl like in the picture.

How is education a means to save one’s life?

By learning to read, write and to be educated is a way out of which you are to become something else not to be like other in the same situation. A poor Indian that can read can go to college can become more then his peers. One who choose not to read and learn may work hard all his life and really never have more than that.

The Writing Process:

How to build effective paragraphs? You first need a paragraph that is united, rational, and well developed. Paragraphs should be a united around a main point, and all sentences in the paragraph should clearly relate to that point in some way. The paragraph's main idea should be supported with detailed information that develops or discusses the main idea in greater detail. So the topic sentence expresses the main point in a paragraph. Your paragraph can be a narration which is a paragraph that tells a story or part of a story, or a description that descriptive a person, place, or thing by using exact details. A process paragraph is structured in sequential order. Also there is comparison and contrast to compare two subjects is to draw attention to their similarities or differences. And there are many others.

How am I going to uses these things in a paragraph in your own writing? First by using the step approach and decide what kind of writing I plain on doing.
